Description of Fair Venue
The fair is at the Sheffield Town Park, in the pavilion and on the surrounding lawn area. The roadway is gravel. The entire area is fairly flat. The pavilion is at ground level and has accessible entrances on three sides. There are tents with activities on the lawn. Most Fair activities are within about 300’ of the pavilion.
Accessible Parking Available
Display your accessible parking tag or license plate and continue past general parking to the accessible parking area closer to the pavilion. Look for signs with a wheelchair symbol and follow the directions of the parking staff. From the most distant accessible parking spot to the pavilion is about 300’. Most accessible parking spots are closer.
The accessible parking area is intended for those who have government issued accessible parking tag. Those who do not have the tag but are not able to walk a distance, may indicate to the staff that they need to park closer. If there is space, they are happy to help.
Golf Cart Shuttle
There is a golf cart shuttle available for those who can safely ride in a golf cart. When arriving, simply indicate to Fair parking staff that a person or persons in your vehicle will need a lift. Staff will dispatch the cart to your location in any of the parking areas.
Drop Off
People may be dropped off at the entrance to the pavilion and then the driver may immediately park the car.
Accessible Toilet & Washing Station
There is an accessible portable toilet and hand washing station located between the accessible parking area and the pavilion.
Outside Food
Patrons who have food sensitivities or particular medical needs are welcome to bring their own food or non-alcoholic beverages. In fact, anyone may bring their own food or non-alcoholic beverages.
Animal Attendance Policy – ONLY SERVICE ANIMALS ALLOWED.
For the safety of all, pets, emotional support animals, and other animals not a part of the Fair, may not attend. THIS WILL BE ENFORCED. Please do not bring your pet or leave it in your well ventilated car while you attend the Fair.
Service Animal Policy
People and their service dog or miniature horse, that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for a person with disabilities, are welcome at the Sheffield Fair. Anyone bringing a service animal assumes and will have responsibility and liability for any damage or injury caused by the animal. Be aware that there are farm animals on site. Service animals must:
